This vehicle is the Mazda RX 8. During its introduction that year, it held a 250 PS JIS RENESIS engine that could produce some 247 units of horsepower at 8500 rpm. This engine won the International Engine of the Year award and the Best New Engine award in 2003.

The Mazda RX 8 was made available in two variants. These variants are the 197-horsepower base model that held an automatic transmission system, and the 238-horsepower performance model with a six speed manual transmission system. Of course, there are differences between these two trim levels. The Mazda RX 8 with the automatic transmission system holds standard features like air conditioning, sixteen inch wheels, power windows, power locks, and power mirrors. As per the trim level with the manual transmission system, this vehicle has the same features as per the other one however, it has added features like a limited slip differential, a sport tuned suspension, and 18 inch wheels and tires.

Mazda has designed and manufactured the Mazda RX 8 to be a vehicle that could be upgraded. And the company has made sure that there are packages available for those interested in sprucing up their Mazda RX 8 vehicles. One package is the Sport package. This gives the vehicle additional xenon headlights, a stability and traction control system, fog lights, a limited slip differential, larger brakes, a retuned suspension, and eighteen inch wheels and tires. There also is the Touring package that has features like the Sport package but adds several more features like a sunroof, a Bose audio system, a HomeLink system, and auto dimming mirrors. The last package is the Grand Touring package that is considered to be a combination of the previously mentioned two packages. This package is considered to be top of the line and has additional equipment and features for the Mazda RX 8 like a six way power adjustable and heated drivers seat, leather upholstery, heated side mirrors, a navigation system, and an in-dash six disc CD changer.

Whichever label you want to give it, the new Toyota Venza looks like a winner.

Think of the Venza as a station wagon and you’ll probably get the point. Of course, it doesn’t look exactly like any station wagon we’ve seen before. Unveiled at Detroit’s North American International Auto show in January, Venza drew lots of attention. Among vehicles currently available, it reminds us most of the Ford Edge crossover.

There’s a lot of the Lexus RX350 in this Toyota, too, though the Venza is pressed down closer to the ground, and sleeker. Its front end is taller, but definitely molded in the theme of Toyota’s current Camry sedan. The Venza’s rear glass has a nice, long rake, and its taillights wrap around the rear fenders onto the hatch. Its standard wheels measure 19 inches in diameter, while 20-inch spoked alloys are optional. In sum, the Venza is one of the more handsome, interesting vehicles Toyota has launched in some time.

A look at its dimensions brings the crossover label into perspective. At 109.3 inches and 189 inches, respectively, the Venza’s wheelbase and overall length match both Bell Road Toyota’s Camry sedan and Highlander sport-utility within fractions of an inch. In other words, the Venza’s footprint on the pavement matches both Camry and Highlander closely. Yet with an overall height of 63.4 inches, the Venza slots right in the middle of the Camry and Highlander. It’s ride height falls somewhere in the middle, too.

The 2009 Venza seats five, like the Camry, rather than seven like the Highlander. Its rocker height, or the lip around the bottom of its passenger doors, is low, making it easy to lift feet inside, yet the hip point for seated occupants is higher than the typical sedan’s. The combination should deliver a mix many buyers seek: easy ingress and egress, with a higher seating position for a better view around tall vehicles on the road.

The 2009 Venza should reach showrooms with the traditional model year changeover in early fall 2008. It will be built at Toyota’s assembly plant in Georgetown, Kentucky.

At present, this vehicle comes with either a 1.8 liter four-cylinder QG18DE engine that is capable of producing 126 horsepower, or the 175 horsepower 2.5 liter four-cylinder QR25DE engine that is also beign used by the Nissan Altima. One of the things that Nissan and the Nissan Sentra is proud of is that it was included for four years, from 1991 to 1994, on the Car and Driver magazines Ten Best list for those years.

The all-new 2007 Nissan Sentra is claimed to target the active lifestyle of the current generation. It makes it first world debut at the North American International Auto Show that will be held in Detroit. It offers all the expected features that the previous generations of the Nissan Sentra has which includes good fuel economy, high levels of durability, quality, reliability, safety, an affordable price, and low cost of ownership. However, it does not only bring these features for it could not be called all-new if there would not be any changes done to it. The 2007 Nissan Sentra adds a completely unexpected level of style, roominess, responsiveness, and versatility that is what the young, active, highly social targeted buyers live in and need. It is also nicely equipped with power door locks and windows, side-impact curtain air bags, and air conditioning. It has been crafted to be much larger than the previous models and is offering one of the largest interior volumes in the compact car class. It is built on the Nissans new C platform.
